Update On Kids

One of my super mom friends brought up the idea of stats for your children every month or every other month. So please bare with me on this!

Curtis
Is such a big boy! He started Preschool again on Monday and is loving every min of it! He has started talking to me about taking a class, music, karate, swimming, something! ((these were all the ideas he gave me btw)) He is starting to write his name out and we are starting to work on reading. He is starting to learn small cooking lessons from mommy and is looking over my shoulder as I attempt cooking our meals. His teacher came up to us a few Sundays ago to tell us how good he was, which is always great to hear!

Dylon
Dill had his birthday party today at Hollywood Connections and turns 2 on Monday! He is in 3t clothing and we think he will be caught up to his brother soon! He is so tenderhearted despite his large size and tries to take care of Emma and I. We are going to star hitting potty training soon....well at least I have my fingers crossed that he will. He is such a sweet boy who tries so hard its hard to get mad at him! He knows and utilizes that sad fact. I will post after his doc apt his big boy size.

Emma
Just had her 4 month check up she is 12.81 pounds and 24.61 inches. She is giggling, rolling, teething and scooting around the floor. Now before everyone gets all excited I need to explain the last one! She lays on her back and uses her legs to move herself around the floor, still a big deal for a small one but please dont call asking how she crawls! :) The doc also said that he wants her to be put on solids asap. Seems my bug is drinking to much! SO that means our next big venture will be eating like a big girl.

My kids are getting so big so fast. Part of me wishes they would slow down a bit, but its so breath taking to see them change and build their own personalities as well. No one warns you about this when you first start having children! One day you would be snuggling them doing tummy time and the next blink they are going to school starting their life that you are no longer the center of. I wish I would have kept better record of all the changes. Hence what you are reading my change to start before they are in college and I get one phone call a week. :( Ya I,m so not ready for that! AHHH the scary dreams that will come from that thought. SO Im going to go try to wipe it from my mind and play heros with the boys.

Well to update you all Batman turned 4!!! GO HIM! He is getting so freaking big its mind blowing. A big shout of thanks to all that came, called or supported in other ways, it means the world to us! LAdy bug has been smiling like mad for the last week and finally last night let out the biggest, cutest laugh ever! I'm so proud ((yes I went there I said proud!)) of her. Monkey tried to swim all by himself to bad he didn't tell anyone first right? He just leaped off the side of the pool and almost gave me the biggest heart attack ever. Thankfully he is fine but is now on a short leash by the pool.

My kids are growing up and its scaring me to death. I hate the idea that one day they wont be my cuddly little ones. They are getting their own thoughts, ideas, and personalities. When did it come to this and am I really ready for the ride? Well with a lot of prayers, advice and child raising books I should make it through alive.

Somehow Easter always reminds me of all the things that I should be grateful for. Well since I have this post to say basically whatever I want here I go! I just wanted to put a quick thought about how much my family means to me. I love them and feel so blessed to have them in my life. They are so great and never seise to amaze me. They are always to willing to help and go out of their way for us. It really means a lot to me and I can never truly begin to tell you how much it has helped us. I know I haven't told any of you enough what you mean to me and what having you in my life means but Im going to start trying to show all of you more! Thank you again for everything.

Birthdays

Ok so I don't mean to be a downer but why are birthdays so important? What is the big deal! For children I understand but when you hit oh lets say about 21, birthdays are really kinda just a pain! Its just not as exciting as it used to be, but why? Why did that magic of birthdays go missing? Maybe the magic is still there but adults are just WAY to busy to notice. Should adults be feeling the magic? Maybe its time to slow down our lives and remember the small things like plastic noise makers and birthday candles.... then again I hate the noise makers!!! LOL o.k. so maybe its just part of life to just grit your teeth and smile for your children through yet ANOTHER birthday party and all its madness. Oh and Meela can you PLEASE come over and show me how in the heck I get this Xmas background off. LOL yes my dirty little secret is out, Meela does my blog decorating!!! Hope everyone had an amazing season. Love you all

Ok so to catch everyone up we had to get rid of the dog. It was sooo hard.. Our stupid apts wouldnt let us keep her. How rude!!! But we found her a really good home. Now she will have a yard and another dog to play with. So thats good at least. It hasnt really made it any easier though. Curtis keeps asking where she is so I keep crying but it should get better soon. Yes I know Im a baby!! Im sensitive and thats ok! :) Other then that things are going good. Jeremy might be changing jobs. SO we might be moving to the Park City area. Mountains here I come!!!! lol Curtis and Dylon are doing GREAT! Curtis is such a big helper. All he wants to do is take care of baby brother! I should be going back to work as soon as we know what is going on with Jeremys work. Cross your fingers that we know fast because I really want to head back to work soon.

So why is everyone in my family sooo freaking good at art and craft stuff!?!? I suck at it! I dont know if maybe it skipped me or what but I really really suck at that stuff. Sorry I really had to vent about that. So no baby yet. He is very very bull-headed! Thats ok at least in one way he will fit in perfect with our family! :) Curtis is doing good. We are working on potty training. He is really doing good with it. He gets all excited, its cute. He LOves going to "school" which in the real world is daycare. He has made so many cute little papers. Jeremy is LOVING work still. His new schedule is working out great! He loves having fridays off. He is starting to look for a 2nd job to do on the weekends. :( I know it will just be for a bit but still it sucks. Roxy is coming along great with her training. Shes just so freaking hyper!!! Shes a good pup though. OH and Im sorry that I suck at updating the blog. Mom and Meela have been getting on me HUGE about it. So I guess I covered everything. I think Im set for another week or 2! :)

Active labor?

OK so I keep hearing the doc say Im in active labor but its taking ALONG time!!! Im at home in pain and they keep saying oh its gunna happen it will just take time. WHAT THE CRAP!!! OW!!! Why cant they speed this up!?! It hurts and it should sooo not take this long with my 2nd for sure. well Im off to enjoy sitting in pain. Go out and have some massive fun for me

Dropped?

OK so the baby has dropped.. what does that mean really? I've heard a lot of different answers and it is kinda freaking me out. Most people have been telling me its only a matter of days and others are saying that it doesn't really matter. I have my doc apt today and so I'm going to ask and get some more info about this whole situation. One more week of bed rest and then I am done!!! :) But on the upside I finished breaking dawn. That was a REALLY good book!!!! It makes me wonder if it may have been her last for the Twilight books. Only time will tell I guess. Im about to start that other book of hers now, The Host? I think thats the name but Im not to sure. Any tips on training a very strong willed puppy? Roxy is a doll and a half but she's very bullheaded, just like the rest of the family. Well this should be enough to make Meela happy again. I will post an update tonight after the doc to.

Bed rest

SO this is the first time I have really written or used this blog. LOL Meela is a sweetie that went through and set this all up for us. Thank you hun!!! :) But since Im bored out of my mind I thought I might give it a shot. Lets start with an update. Curtis gets back from his cruise tomorrow. We have missed him so much. Ill be sure to add some pics on here from his trip. No baby yet, which means Im still on bed rest. Any ideas on how to make the time go by faster? I am about to pull out my hair. To be honest though we are thinking that the new one should be coming in the next 2 weeks at most. It will be so nice to hold him. A new little bundle to cuddle. Curtis doesn't let us really cuddle anymore. He's way to "big" for that now.
